Events

We met the sisters and the contractor to agree with the colour of the paintings inside and outside of the building. We decided a yellow colour outside (tipical colour in African countries). Inside will be white.

We spent a long time to find a practical way in order to install wash-hand-stand for the kids before entering the refectory. We decided to built it against the kitchen wall and to paint it the same color as the entire building. it'll be divided in 4 parts (two exclusively for the smallest). The water will be controlled by a unique tap to avoid water waste by the kids.

The contractor has respected our requests and the rectory is planned to be finished by the end of june. It could be opened for the school year 2006/2007 and the inauguration planned for the last weekend of october.

Many thunderstome have deteriorated roofs of some building . The association will pay for renovating . We are waiting for the price of repairing.

We paid 5025 euros for the refertory (last settlement) , 915 euros for the water and electricity connection , 650 euros for the sponsorship of 13 kids and 760 euros to buy 1000 kg of rice and sugar.

About the pigsty, we plan to build the new one in two phases. We decided to divide  the cow shed in two parts and to install as soon as possible the pigs. It'll allow to reduce the costs and solve quickly this problem.

We celebrated the Pentecost festivity with the kids (very nice day).

(50 kg of clothes have been given to the sisters)
